Public sell form

cdxauction.com/sell.php — new item + photos, existing stock, camera, estate batch, eBay CSV, metal tools, full description. Full steps: How to list.

Public storefront

Buyers open your store for about, policies, feedback, live auctions, Buy Now, and sold lots.

Edit store text under Account → My store or SpotPro CDX settings. Directory: /sellers.php. Example: /store/thecoinshop.

2. Seller trust (phone + government ID)

SpotPro: Ecommerce → Seller trust

Open spotpro.us/members/seller-trust. Verify US mobile by SMS and submit a government ID photo (Phone + QR capture preferred). This is dealer identity for all channels — ExtraCoins storefront, Auction / Live, and public store — not a tab inside Auction Settings. Legacy cdx-auction?tab=trust redirects here.

Verified dealer (green badge) when email + SMS phone + address + ID are complete
Shown on lot seller strip, store hero, sellers directory, pay invoice, ExtraCoins footer under Store information
Never exposes full phone, ID image, or last 4 publicly
Auction Settings still hold bid notifications, pickup miles, and public store copy only

3. Lot settings

Basics

Accurate title, description, and images (include year/series keywords for set-builder matching)
Starting bid, optional reserve / Buy Now
Duration; late bids may add time to the end clock
Stock may be held while a lot is live

Allow make offer

Checked by default when listing. Buyers can send a private best offer; uncheck for bid-only lots.

Buy Now that follows metal

On bullion — tracks silver, gold, platinum, or palladium; optional markup over live metal + independent price floor. Shown price is never below the starting bid.

Demo video (Prime)

Upload a short product video on the inventory item in SpotPro media (same panel as photos; MP4/WebM/MOV, max ~30s). Attaches automatically when you list. Optional YouTube/Vimeo when listing. Appears on the lot page and Prime.

How buyers bid

Buyers set a max bid — the public current price is the contested amount, not their private ceiling. On bullion they can set max as a % of metal value with an optional hard $ ceiling.

If the item has guide pricing linked in SpotPro, CDX saves those numbers at list time (free) for fair-price labels. See the guide price feature guide.

Keep inventory current

Keep guide pricing linked and run guide updates in SpotPro Software when you want fresh dealer numbers (uses your keys there).

Seller console tools

Sync guide prices (free) — re-copies saved inventory prices
Refresh guide (live if stale) — may use your keys only when the snapshot is older than ~24 hours

Open Seller console → Lots.

Nightly free re-copy

Re-copies free SpotPro values for all live lots and may refresh stale lots with your own keys (never trial keys; capped volume).

Your listing prices stay yours. Guide sync never changes starting bid, reserve, fixed Buy Now, or Buy Now that follows metal.

Actions

Accept — lot sells at the offer price; invoice is created for the buyer
Counter — propose a different amount; buyer can accept or let it expire
Decline — reject the offer; auction continues if still live

Rules

Filter open / pending / countered / closed
Unanswered offers typically expire in ~48 hours
Offer amount: at or above next bid floor; below Buy Now when Buy Now is set

Email volume

New bids email your shop contact (amount, masked bidder, count, links). Mute New bid in Seller console → Settings on hot lots. Sold and payment emails toggle separately.

How buyers pay you

Configure on Account → How buyers pay you (and SpotPro Company Profile for software shops): card via Authorize.Net or CardZ3n (one at a time — processor deposits to your bank), PayPal, Zelle (prefer business bank), wire to a deposit-only account, pickup/cash.

Buyers never pay CDX for the coin. Offer about two solid rails; use the in-page Help tips and seller safety guide. Independent shops: Selling fees tab for Free vs Pro plans (Pro is self-serve auto-renew).

8. After the sale

Fulfillment (SpotPro shops)

Confirm offline payments before shipping
Pack & labels: Ecommerce → Ship Desk — same hub as ExtraCoins and wholesale remote ship
Orders: Ecommerce → Orders — auction wins appear with store/wholesale for money & status
Customers: multi-channel buyer book under Ecommerce → Customers
Ship with a tracking number (required for shipped sales)

Claims

Handle Claims carefully — most “not delivered” after a Delivered scan are fraud. Do not automatic-reship.
