How to list on CDX Auction

Approved SpotPro dealers always list and sell at $0 platform fees. Use the public sell form or SpotPro inventory — both create live lots buyers can find immediately.

Access: Sign in on cdxauction.com with the same email as your SpotPro shop. If you can’t list, you’re not on the approved seller list yet — apply or contact support.

1. Where to list

CDX sell form

cdxauction.com/sell.php — new item + photos, existing SpotPro stock, camera, estate batch, show block, eBay CSV.

SpotPro

Inventory → Send to auction, Store Listings → Auction, or Ecommerce → CDX Auction seller console for lots, offers, payments.

2. Sell form basics

Title & media

  • Clear title: year, mint, grade, metal when it matters
  • Photos: both sides; multiple angles help
  • Optional product video for the Prime / video lane

Price

  • Starting bid and/or Buy Now
  • Fixed price catalog option (no bidding)
  • Optional reserve, offers, auto smart-relist

Metal tools (bullion)

Set inventory type to Bullion with metal, weight, and purity. The form shows:

  • Suggested prices from metal value — one-tap start/Buy Now at common premiums
  • Seller fees elsewhere — estimated eBay/Whatnot take on this price vs CDX $0
  • Warning if your price is below metal value by accident

The right column on the sell page is a listing helper (checklist, fees, links) — not empty space.

3. Description (rich text)

WYSIWYG editor

The description field is a rich text editor: bold, lists, headings, links. Click Generate description to draft from the SpotPro description engine, then edit.

HTML is sanitized on save (scripts stripped). Safe formatting shows on the public lot page.

4. Import & batch

eBay CSV

Upload an active-listings export with Title + StartPrice (or Buy Now). Maps to CDX lots; re-add photos after. See Move from eBay.

Estate / show batch

Paste lines: Title | start $ | BIN $. Optional silent block (shared end time) for multi-lot floor energy without show tax.

Bulk exit tools

Reprice to metal value, dual-list flags, end-on-eBay checklist CSV. Bulk tools.

5. After you list

Inventory hold

After a serious bid, stock in SpotPro Software can be held so it isn’t sold twice on the counter.

Offers & messages

Respond in SpotPro Offers tab and CDX messages. Mute hot-lot bid emails in seller settings if needed.

Store about & policies

Edit rich text under Account → My store or SpotPro CDX settings. Buyers see it on your public store.
