Payments overview
Auction wins settle buyer → selling dealer. CDX Auction does not use a platform Stripe merchant account for coin/currency settlements.
Who charges whom
| Party | Role |
|---|
| Buyer | Pays winning bid (+ any agreed shipping) to the seller |
| Seller | Receives funds via their configured rails |
| Platform | $0 list / $0 sell fee in beta; does not hold card funds |
Supported methods (seller-configured)
- Authorize.Net — Accept.js card checkout on the Pay seller page
- CARDZ3N — Collect.js card checkout
- PayPal — PayPal.me / seller PayPal flow
- Zelle / wire / check — offline instructions; buyer reports payment, seller confirms
Buyer steps after a win
- Open the win email or Payments
- Choose a method the seller offers
- Complete card checkout or offline transfer and report confirmation when asked
Fees
- Platform auction fees: $0 list / $0 sell for SpotPro sellers (beta)
- Buyer registration: free
- Processor fees (Auth.net, CARDZ3N, PayPal, banks): between seller and their provider
